But seriously, this is what our house sounds like these days. In case we have not made it clear, Jacob LOVES music. He just recently started adding a verse when he sings his Alleluia, making up random new words each time he sings it. I think that here he sang:

Lord, please help me protect my sister,

and send my alleluia to my sister,

(indecipherable) ALLELUIA!

Lilian wants to do anything her big brother does, so she watches very carefully and does her best to replicate his every move.

Jacob has a new favorite hymn.  He is usually hesitant to have me video his performances so I did what any good mom would do: I recorded him in his crib!

In case you are not familiar with the hymn and cannot understand him, the lyrics are:

Glory and praise to our God,

Who alone gives light to our days.

Many are the blessings He bears,

To those who trust in His ways.

Oh, and I got smart toward the end and actually turned on the monitor volume so if you have your computer turned up, you may want to turn it down when you see me doing that.

We went to Kidcity with Melissa, Josh and Emma last week and the next morning Jacob was singing about how much fun he had.
